Nashville, TN Newborn Photographer

Newborn Photography has become a true passion of mine.  I love capturing the innocence of each baby I get the honor of photographing.  Newborn Sessions are held at my Nashville Studio using a combination of studio light and natural light.  I also offer in home sessions for parents that prefer not to travel.  I provide all the blankets and props unless you have a special heirloom you wish to include and you can come and get a hour or two to sit back and watch me, read a book or TAKE A NAP!  My studio is a very relaxed environment so once you arrive we will go directly into posing.  Each baby is unique and I cater each session to each baby to ensure we come away with pictures you will cherish for years to come.  It is never to soon to plan for you newborn session.  Newborns are photographed in the first 6-12 days of life so if you are expecting don’t wait until you deliver to find a newborn photographer!
What people are saying:

“Tiera, I wanted to tell you how much our newborn session meant to me.

When you have babies that are born prematurely… everything is different than you expect. You leave the hospital without your babies. Your days are filled with with monitor beeps and grams gained. It’s weeks before you’re able to hold your baby in your arms. Friends and family aren’t able to be there for the birth, and it’s usually kind of a scary, emergency experience. You can’t show the babies off to visitors, since the NICU has a restricted visitation policy.
Some people have a really, really hard time with all of that. Our babies were in the NICU for a month, and there were definitely some hard moments. But for the most part, we were thankful that are babies arrived safely, were healthy, and had access to amazing medical care.
It was easy for us to let go of a lot of our expectations, but I really, really wanted some sweet newborn pictures. I think our babies are more than adorable, and wanted pictures that captured their perfect little features. We didn’t post a lot of pictures of the babies when they were in the NICU – you hate for the first pictures people to see to be of tubes and wires. Ian & Isla were only 3 pounds when they were born, so I wanted to give them some time to gain weight before we did newborn shots.
But between the twins coming home, moving in to our new house, Ian’s baby acne, Isla losing her hair, and TJ’s dad having unexpected spinal surgery… I kind of missed my window for newborn shots.
I continued to mourn that, so I decided to give you a call anyway.  I thought there was NO way we would get the snuggly, sleepy newborn shots. But I thought they would sleep pretty well, and be content, and if nothing else, get some great 3 month style shots. I so appreciate you being willing to give it a shot, and fit me in before your big trip. That was so thoughtful of you.
And then… seeing the way you cared for my sweet little ones… You were SO good with them. And the amazing shots you were able to get… It absolutely brought tears to my eyes. I can’t believe you were able to give us such a “normal” newborn baby experience. It means the world to me. I can’t wait to see the rest of the shots!
Thank you, Tiera Faith Photography! You have given our family a priceless gift. You are SO gifted at what you do.
Love,
Holly”
“We were so pleased both with the experience of our photo session with Tiera and with the final products! Tiera showed up on location with a variety of adorable props and transformed our home into a studio. She was like Mary Poppins and kept pulling things out to use. She was also extremely patient with our newborn. New moms should take note of her natural and easy way of calming babies. Tiera was equally popular with our shy toddler who called her “Aunt Tiera.” She took her time with us and it paid off. We have received feedback from friends and family that the photos Tiera took are “the best” baby pictures they have ever seen! We can’t wait to get them on our walls! And, personally, Tiera is a sweetheart. We enjoyed our time with her and will use her again. – Leigh”
